Eastern Lake Campground located near the head of the Eastern Lake Trail is a great place to go camping. There are four primitive campsites available. The area is ideal for paddle boarding on Eastern Lake; The Gulf of Mexico is also accessible from the campground area.


Topsail Hill Preserve Park is also a popular summer destination, especially for families. The park has over three miles of white sand beaches, lakes, unique plant life and wetlands. Topsail Hill, the namesake of the park itself, stands nearly 25 feet above sea level. Topsail Hill Preserve is home to a wide variety of animal life, including endangered species such as the Choctawhatchee Beach Mouse.
Topsail Hill Park is known for bicycling, birding, fishing and hiking.


The main attraction to Santa Rosa Beach are the beautiful beaches. Families love to set up their chairs and umbrellas and spend the day building sand castles, jumping waves, walking along the beach, riding boogie boards and skim boarding. There’s an easy beach access with plenty of benches nearby; makes it easy to rinse off. Beautiful sunsets are a common end to wonderful days spent on the beach!
